Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the FSnav mobile application (the “App”) published by FLIGHTSHARED, 4 rue Montmejean, 33100 Bordeaux, France. By creating an account, you accept them.

2. Account

An account (email + password) is required. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. The account can be deleted at any time in the App (Home → avatar → Delete my account); deletion is permanent.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

  • Free trial: 30 days from account creation, every feature included, no payment method required. Granted once per device.
  • Monthly subscription: €7.99 / month, renewed automatically every month.
  • Yearly subscription: €69 / year, renewed automatically every year. Launch offer: €49 for the first year, then €69 / year.
  • Prices include VAT; the price shown in the App Store or Google Play at purchase time prevails.
  • Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours preceding the end of the period.
  • Cancellation: anytime from your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Access continues until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds: payments are processed by Apple or Google; refund requests follow their respective policies.
  • Restore: an active subscription can be restored on a new device (“Restore purchases”).

4. Aviation safety — essential clause

FSnav is an aid to navigation and flight preparation. It is not a certified source, does not replace official aeronautical documentation (AIP, approach charts, NOTAM, AIP supplements) or an official weather briefing, and must not be used as the sole means of navigation. Aeronautical and weather data come from third-party sources (see Sources) and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong; forecasts and derived products (e.g. thunderstorm cells inferred from lightning, route weather analyses, route suggestions) are provided without any warranty. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for preparation, the go/no-go and continuation decisions, and the conduct of the flight, in accordance with applicable regulations.

5. Permitted use

The App is for personal use by pilots and student pilots. Resale, redistribution of data, automated extraction, reverse engineering and any use contrary to law or to the data sources’ licences are prohibited.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its code, artwork and trademarks belong to FLIGHTSHARED. Third-party data remains subject to its publishers’ licences, listed on the Sources page.

7. Availability and liability

FLIGHTSHARED strives to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation (maintenance, third-party source outages, lack of network). To the extent permitted by law, FLIGHTSHARED’s liability is limited to the amounts paid for the current subscription; it cannot be held liable for indirect damages or for the consequences of a flight decision.

9. Changes

These terms may change; material changes are announced in the App. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

French law. Failing amicable resolution, the competent courts of Bordeaux, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions (consumer mediation, courts of the consumer’s residence).
